Am I eligible to become a member of National Seniors?

National Seniors Australia membership is open to any person who has an interest in issues that affect older Australians. If you have any further questions about eligibility please call our Membership Team on 1300 76 50 50.

Why should I join National Seniors?

National Seniors is the leading organisation in Australia, representing the concerns of older Australian's to state and federal government, businesses and the broader community. Australians join National Seniors to be heard on issues that affect them, their family and friends. They also join in order to access a wide range of specialised benefits and services such as a dedicated travel agency, insurance, world class ageing research and a member magazine.

What is the cost of membership?

Membership of National Seniors starts from $45 for a one year single member and $75 for a one year joint membership. You can read more about the membership fees on this website.

What membership terms are available?

National Seniors membership is available in one year, two year, five year and lifetime membership terms.

How do I become a member of National Seniors?

To become a member, you can join online, complete and return an application form by post or call our Membership Team on 1300 76 50 50 and join over the phone.

What are the hours of customer service operation?

National Seniors Australia’s membership, insurance and travel consultants are available to take your call weekdays from 8.00am to 6pm Australian Eastern Standard Time. Our call centres do not currently operate on weekends.

How long does it take to receive a membership card?

After processing your membership payment, it may take up to 14 business days for your new membership card to arrive by mail.

My name is incorrect on my National Seniors membership card. How do I correct it?

We apologise for the mistake on your National Seniors membership card. Please contact us and provide us with the correct spelling of your name. We will process your new membership card immediately.

How do I request a new membership card?

If you have lost or damaged your card and would like to receive a new one, please call our Membership Team on 1300 76 50 50.

Can I buy a gift membership?

Definitely! Just proceed to the gift membership sign up on this website. If you require assistance or would like to purchase your gift membership over the phone please call our Membership Team on 1300 76 50 50.

Can I have multiple email addresses registered with National Seniors?

Unfortunately National Seniors are unable to register multiple email addresses to a membership at this time. If you have changed your email address please change your details online or contact us.

I am moving and need to change my address.

If you have moved or are moving, you can update your mailing address and phone number in your account area of this website. Alternatively, you can also email us at general@nationalseniors.com.au or call our Membership Team on 1300 76 50 50.

What information do I need to log in to the website?

To log in to the National Seniors website, simply click on the Member Login at the top of any page and enter your membership number (as shown on your card) and your password, then click “Login”. If you have never logged into the website before or do not know your password, please contact our membership team on 1300 76 50 50 (weekdays 8:30am to 5pm AEST) or membership@nationalseniors.com.au and they can assist you.

I’ve misplaced my password – what do I do?

If you have forgotten or misplaced your password, please click on “Forgotten password?” on the log in screen. Enter your member number and an email with your login details will be sent to the email address recorded on your membership.

Are my online payments secure?

When purchasing from National Seniors Australia, your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard. Should you have any further queries about our online payments please contact us.

Does anyone have access to my personal information?

National Seniors collects the personal information needed to provide membership services to you. Your information may be shared with organisations that also provide services to members of National Seniors. If you do not want your information used this way, would like access to your personal information, or would like to update any personal information we have collected from you, please contact us.

I don’t have a computer – how do I access my benefits?

If you don’t have access to a computer, we can send you a flyer containing some information on our Member Benefits Program or contact our team on 1300 76 50 50. Keep an eye out for new member benefits and offers that are published in our quarterly magazine.

Are there plans to expand the Member Benefits Program?

National Seniors are always looking for new ways to improve their membership offering and bring members more value. Your feedback is important and we will continue to improve our Member Benefits Program with your help. Contact us with your feedback.

How do I register for your website?

When you become a member of National Seniors, you are automatically generated a membership number and a password for the website. You can locate your membership number on your card and if you don't know your password, please contact our membership team on 1300 76 50 50 (weekdays 8:00am to 6pm AEST) or membership@nationalseniors.com.au and they can assist you.

What is your cancellation policy?

National Seniors Australia provides a ten (10) day cooling-off period from date of initial payment / purchase of membership. You may cancel your membership at any time. If you choose to cancel your membership outside of the ten (10) day cooling-off period, no refund or extension will be given. Read more in Our Customer Terms.

How does National Seniors give older Australians a voice to government?

National Seniors works with older Australians to determine issues of importance to them. We develop a strong understanding of the needs of older Australians through research, surveys, focus groups, polls, petitions and other means. We work with government, opposition, and other political parties and build strong relationships with government departments, peak bodies and national associations to develop practical solutions to address these needs.

How can I get involved?

Visit the campaigns page to learn about our leadership campaigns. Each campaign will have information about the issue and what you can do to get involved and make a difference.

I’d like to raise an issue for National Seniors to lobby on. How do I let you know?

National Seniors has developed a proactive advocacy agenda based on feedback from older Australians. We do this through surveys, focus groups, polls, petitions and other means. We encourage you to visit the campaigns page and find out how to get involved in our leadership campaigns. National Seniors Insurance is a service of National Seniors Australia, offering a great range of insurance products that deliver true peace of mind and protection. Any returns generated through National Seniors Insurance are reinvested into the work of National Seniors Australia to help fight for a fair go for older Australians.

Who is National Seniors Travel?

National Seniors Travel is a dedicated member service of National Seniors Australia. We are in the unique position, as part of a not-for-profit organisation, to pass on significant savings to our members. We also apply any loyalty discounts you may be entitled to such as frequent travellers, second tour, early payment and pensioner entitlements on top of an exclusive member price.

What services do you provide?

National Seniors Travel is a full service travel agency, performing all the tasks that other travel agents would, such as booking flights, accommodation, car hire, foreign exchange and travel insurance. There are definitely unique advantages to booking your next holiday through National Seniors Travel, such as the exclusive member discount that you won’t get anywhere else.
