    Hearing Australia is the largest provider of government-funded hearing services. Through the Community Service Obligations program, they are the sole provider of specialist hearing services for children, adults under 26, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults over 50, and adults who require high-level specialist services. 

    With over 180 locations across Australia, they will  work with you to deliver on their promise to make hearing easy.

    National Seniors Australia have partnered with Hearing Australia to make it easy for older Australians to receive the expert hearing care they deserve. And to make it even easier we are coming to you, delivering FREE* 15 minute hearing checks at all National Seniors branches.

    Q: What are the signs of hearing loss?

    A: Loss of hearing is often a gradual process. Hearing loss is invisible and more common than people think. Some of the early warning signs of hearing loss are: you can hear but not understand; you find it hard to hear in noisy situations or groups of people; you think people mumble; you need turn the TV up louder than others; or, you don’t always hear the doorbell or the phone. 

    Q: What is an Australian Government Hearing Services Program Voucher?

    A: A voucher entitles eligible adults to obtain government-subsidised hearing services, which can include appropriate listening devices. See the funding options for more information on eligibility.
