Since its inception last year, the National Seniors Australia (NSA) Keep Cash campaign has garnered support from thousands of Australians who want to preserve cash as a viable payment option alongside cards and digital transactions.
Many members and supporters have bought Keep Cash t-shirts or contacted us for free Keep Cash stickers so they can proudly display their support.
Businesses have also come on board, with many of them displaying NSA’s We Accept Cash stickers in their shop windows or at point of sale.
Now, we’ve launched a nationwide photo competition, offering Keep Cash supporters a chance to win a $2,500 travel voucher from National Seniors Travel.
Capture a photo of yourself wearing a Keep Cash t-shirt or holding a campaign sticker, set against a backdrop that highlights your unique location in Australia.
Accompany your photo with a brief caption of up to 50 words explaining the significance of cash in your life and the context of your chosen location.
Share your entry on Facebook, tagging National Seniors Australia to ensure your submission is recognised.
Ensure your entry is sent to us before the deadline at 11.59pm AEST on Monday, 30 June 2025.
The most creative and visually engaging submission, as determined by NSA judges, will receive a $2,500 travel voucher redeemable through National Seniors Travel.
Along with the chance to win, your competition entries will allow us to draw even more attention to this important campaign.
By stressing the importance of maintaining cash as a payment option, especially for older people who may be less comfortable with digital alternatives, NSA continues to advocate for inclusive systems that cater to all Australians.
